Mama's Helper

ok, so I had just gotten Ry down from eating dinner and was heading into the kitchen to get him a glass of milk when Nathan started fussing in the bouncy chair... next thing I hear is Ry saying 'Mama, baby.. Mama baby' I didn't really think anything of it and when I came to the living room with Ry's cup this is what I saw! Too cute, Ryan had gotten Nathan's bottle off of the table behind the couch and was giving it to him to calm him down and get him to stop crying... way sweet :)

Pumpkin Time!

A friend of ours won a giant pumpkin so we went to take pictures with it!

We'll have to go back when it's not so close to Ry's naptime because this is all we got!

More Sweet Smiles :)

We obviously hate Daddy being gone, but one good thing about deployment is that Mommy takes pictures every day to send to him!

Typhoon Melor

As some of you may know, we had a typhoon pass through the other day!
Super Typhoon Melor (the one on the right) was a category 5 "Super Typhoon" out in the ocean, a Category 2 Typhoon when it came ashore, and a Tropical Storm as it passed right over us in the middle of the night... since Nathan still eats in the middle of the night, I got to see some of the action. I never knew a person could miss thunder and lightning so much!
Most of the storm action was over by morning, but Ryan and I had a good time opening up the window, feeling the wind, and watching leaves and branches fly around!
It was funny watching him get irritated when the curtain would blow around and cover him up :)
The afternoon sky was the most gorgeous blue!

We could even see Mt. Fuji!

A Boy and His Trains..

Ryan's latest obsession... His wooden train set!
It's the first thing he drags out to play with in the morning...

And it's the last thing he plays with before he goes to bed at night... kid can't get enough!

Monkey See...

Monkey Do!
