Almost There!

Well I walked in the living room to find Nathan walking behind a push toy all by himself! I wasn't all that surprised seeing as he's such an active little booger, but it was really neat! Took this video so Daddy can see on the boat and wanted to share it on the blog too :)

Hehe...

Yep... We've been in Japan a while!

Randoms...

We actually got a rare sighting of Mt. Fuji the other day - Typically it's not visible during the summer due to all the pollution in the air so it was really neat to be able to snap this picture!

Trouble is my name, mischief is my game :)

Sweetness at the Park :)

Goobers having fun!
This is signature Nathan - one pointed finger to examine everything!

Goofy boys :)

Pool Time!

While Ry was at school today I filled up the pools so Nathan could do some splashing around!
His little legs were kicking the whole time!
He always looks like he's thinking so hard about every little thing!
FINALLY got him to look at the camera - he was having too much fun! He actually ended up wanting to go into the big pool and had even more fun crawling around in there!
When Ry came home it was his turn!
He got a kick out of giving Cooper a drink :)
...and having him chase around the pool!

Unfortunately I ran out of swim diapers so Nathan had to stay on the sidelines - at least he's a happy snacker!

Trial Run!

I've been meaning to take some "3 Year" photos of Ry, but the weather has been so yucky I haven't been able to! We ventured out to a new park in between rain showers and I think next time I'll have to bring the nice camera to get some quality shots of the big man :)
I had to bribe him to get this shot :) We were all ready to leave when I spotted the bridge - looks like he'll be able to take a toy to bed with him tonight!
There was a fun bridge over the water with some nice sized fish swimming below!
Cutie pie! Can't believe he's 3 :)

and of course here's a shot of Nathan sporting his super cute converse shoes!

A Few Firsts!

Well Nathan is pulling up to a stand all on his own now!
Ry rode his scooter all the way to the park!
Yumm... popsicle for breakfast!

Nothing but trouble!

My Boys :)

Well Daddy is back on the boat, but we had a few great days with him!!
Ryan is finally beginning to feel the pains of having a little brother - Nathan loves trying to play along side him :)
Guy and I joined some squadron friends at a sushi-go-round restaurant to see how much we could all eat! We got plenty of strange looks from the japanese people dining there and at the end we stacked all the plates up at one table and took pictures - it's the little things! Guy and I cleared about 21 plates between us (I ate about 2/3rds of them myself!)
Ryan loves riding his scooter around the house!
We had a hail and farewell at a restaurant in Yokohama's China Town - here's a pic of myself with a few of the gals we rode the train with!
It was beautiful and we will definitely be going back!
Guy and I :)
Sweet boys... this was right before Ry pushed Nathan out of the way so he could keep playing :)
I made Ryan a 'Daddy Book' when Guy left so he could always have pictures of his Daddy with him - as you can see from the picture he was a little bit excited about it :)
Got some sweet pictures of Nathan at the park today!
I tried to get pictures of Ryan too but all I kept hearing was "Mommy no pictures!"
Getting so big!
Love those boys!!
Look Ma - no hands! He fell a few seconds later, but it's a start!

He rode the scooter all the way to the park and back - getting so big!

Happy 4th of July!!

Happy Fourth of July everyone!!! Our biggest surprise and blessing was that Guy was able to come home for a visit!!
My 2 goobers in their super cute new duds :)
I thought it would be a good idea to get a picture on the stairs and this is what Ry had in mind!
I LOVE this picture because Ry is being goofy and it looks like Nathan is pointing at him saying "Look at this weirdo!"
That's more like it!
Such a happy boy :)
Ryan and Daddy playing a game on the iPad
The boys and their buddies getting ready to see some fireworks! There were 3 new kiddos in the picture this year - everyone got a new sibling!
So glad to have gotten a family picture!

Ryan absolutely loved the fireworks again this year - he talked about each one and even made up little songs about them. Nathan on the other hand wasn't the biggest fan - he was super snuggly and didn't really care for the loud noises... it didn't help that it was way past his bedtime! Overall it was a great time!!!

Oh and...

I cut my hair! The ponytail measured 12 inches - I donated it to Pantene's Beautiful Lengths campaign - they make free wigs for cancer patients. It was getting so long and I never did anything with it other than pulling it back into a ponytail, I figured they could use my locks more than I would!

Giggle Monsters!

I'm in the kitchen doing the dishes and I hear this crazy roar of giggles coming from the living room - I grabbed the camera and this is what I found!

Pool Fun!

I think they had a little bit of fun yesterday... I could be wrong :)

Ry's "Happy Day" Party

What would be more perfect for this 3 year old than a Thomas and Friends birthday party!?
Ry's cake! Gotta love that his favorite present of the day was the toy that I bought to put on top of the cake :)
We set up in a party room since it was hot and humid outside. I blew up a dozen beach balls and the kids had fun running around like crazies!
I got him to wear his conductor hat and bandana just long enough to take a couple pictures :)
I'm Three!!! He tries so hard to get that pinkie finger to stay down :)
Chowing down! Ry of course didn't want to eat anything that I had brought and decided to keep playing instead - goober!
He loved having everyone sing Happy Birthday to him
I had to hold him back since he kept wanting to touch the frosting (of course) and he actually blew out his candle before I had a chance to help! Such a big boy!

He had fun opening presents too!
