One of My Favorite Things..

One of my favorite things about Fall besides the yummy smelling candles and the ability to have all the windows in the house open is.... New fall clothes!!! (For Ry of course :)

For whatever reason this is his new signature pose! Whenever I ask him to stand for a picture, this is what I get!

Unless I catch a shot when he's trying to get away!

Oh and the stuck-out tongue is apparently part of it too ;)

Nathan found a picture of Daddy and Ry (from when Ry was his age) on the fridge and has been carrying it around most of today.

He's getting really good at the whole walking thing!

This is a picture of my choosing my battles this morning. Out of all the cabinets in the kitchen, this is the one Nathan always decides to raid first... So I decided to empty it out and fill it with toys :) Now I don't have to get frustrated when he starts throwing my things all over the kitchen!

It sure feels like September has been super busy! Here are a few recent shots :)

Ry went through a phase this past week where he wanted to wear glasses just like Mommy - such a cutie!

Nathan has been working to secure his title as "Happiest Baby Ever" :)

He's actually very gentle with Max (when he's not trying to poke him in the ear) and Max is pretty darn patient with him too!

Mommy and her Littlest Man before heading to his one-year doctor's appointment! He measured 32 inches long and was 24.5 pounds! That put him in the 95th percentile for height (meaning he is taller than 95% of the kiddos his age) and put him at the 60th percentile for weight (meaning he's heavier than 60% of kiddos his age)

Mommy and Nathan picked out some new dino jammies for Ry when they were in Yokosuka! I think he liked them - he asked me to take this picture :)

Boys At The Park!

Going to the park is pretty much a daily thing for us now that the afternoons are tolerable!

Kiddos love going down the slides together. Ryan does the countdown for us... sometimes he counts all the way to 10 before they are allowed to slide!

Franken-baby! He hasn't figured out how to stand up when not holding on to something, but get him on his feet and he's off!

Soccer Video!

Hooray for soccer season! Here are a few shots from Ry's game on Friday :)

He's one of the smallest/youngest kids on the team, but he doesn't seem to mind!

He's always in the back of the pack but he actually got his foot on the ball for a few seconds! The ball came his way by accident, but he was really excited about it!

Ryan had his photo shoot in Tokyo today for the japanese kiddo clothing catalog! It was quite the long day (with barely a nap on the way home!) But we did it! I'll be sure to post pictures when the catalog comes out!

They had the camera hooked up to the computer, so they automatically popped up on the screen once they were taken

I love this one - gotta love that he was actually being stubborn and that's the reason he was crossing his arms like that!

Hehe, as we were waiting to find out whether we were finished and allowed to leave or not, Ry put the toy gun up to Mommy's head (not knowing what he was doing of course.. it started on my leg, and then my arm...) But considering how long and tiring the day was I had to snag a picture! Yes, there were lights and japanese sound effects too!
