Laura and Ryder Visit Japan!

On the train heading to Asakusa!
The boys and I in front of the Asakusa Temple Thunder Gate!
Tons of little shops on the street leading to the temple
A traditional japanese food! Tastes like 2 pancakes with custard filling - yum!
Gate leading to the main temple
5 storied pagoda
Ry and I inside the main temple
Nathan taking a break from the stroller!
By far the best translated sign i've seen here!
Guy showing Ryder the jets
Ry and Daddy at Mike's Mexican for dinner!
Margaritas and sour cream chicken enchiladas - yum!
Nathan being a goober :)
Gorgeous day for sightseeing!
A pretty bridge near Hakone
Ry and Mommy!
Lake Ashi in Hakone
The pirate ship we took to the other side of the lake!
Ry spotted another pirate ship!
Sisters!
Ryder and Laura
Ryan looking out of the ropeway car!
In front of the sulfur pits!
The Hakone Ropeway
Gorgeous view of Mt. Fuji!
A trail with sulfur gasses rising from the ground
A black egg! They cook them in the sulfur water which makes the shells black - for every one you eat you get 7 years added to your life :)
Yum!
These school girls kept telling Ryan that he was cute so I got their picture with him :)
Dinner at the FishTank! This man kept trying (very hard) to talk with us but didn't speak much English at all. His son is married to an american and living in California... he ended up buying all of our dinner!
Dinner at the sushi-go-round! Little plates of various kinds of sushi go around a conveyer belt around the restaurant and you grab whatever you want to eat. You keep your plates stacked on your table and that's how they determine how much to charge you!

At the train station on our way to Kamakura! My camera died soon after this so the rest of the pictures are on Laura's camera!

End of October

Ok, so I just realized today that I am terrible about taking pictures when Guy is home - I don't have a boat to send them to! I'll try to work on that!
Daddy is home - the boys are definitely happy about that :) (Cooper included :)
Ryan was Thomas the Train for Halloween - I bet you didn't see that one coming!
He even kept a train whistle in his pouch so he could play the part!
Nathan was the cutest little tiger for Halloween - his costume even had extra padding so he was chubby too!
Totally fun to watch his tail swish back and forth as he walked around :)
Ryan was actually sick over Halloween so we were lucky that we had this party with our friends a couple of days prior!
Fun at the park!
Ryan actually calls this park the "Nathan Park" because "Nathan likes to swing Mommy!" - too cute!
