Ry's Fourth Birthday Party!

Since it's rainy season here in Japan, we decided to throw Ryan a party indoors at one of the party rooms on base!

This year he had a pirate party! The boys had fun playing beach balls with Daddy while waiting for friends to arrive!

They were pretending that there were 'spider snakes' coming after them so they would crawl up the slide together and then come back down as fast as they could!

Ryan was pretending to sleep and Nathan would try to lift his head yelling "get UP!"

The Past Few Days

Took the boys to a local shopping mall recently and they just HAD to play one of their favorite games - air hockey! And it is just their size!!

Whack-a-Mole is always a favorite as well!

Nathan likes to sneak outside and pretend to drive the car - we always have to make sure to disconnect the battery!

It was a gorgeous, sunny day outside so we invited a friend to come swimming with us!

Afternoon at the Park!

The boys have fallen in love with a park at an army base about 20 minutes away and insisted on going this afternoon (It's also one of the only places Mommy can get fountain dr.Pepper in Japan, so I rarely argue!)

I discovered the secret to getting a real smile out of Ryan instead of a cheesy 'camera' smile - get them to yell 'Daddy!!!'

I still can't believe I will have a FOUR year old at the end of the month!

A Few From Today :)

Well it looks like Guy accidentally took my little camera to DC with him! Oops! So the pictures might be a bit scarce for the next couple weeks since it's not always convenient to lug the big one around with me! That being said - here are a few pictures from today!

LOVE this face! He saw me messing with my camera and came up yelling "cheese, cheese!!!"

Was making a yummy cucumber salad this morning and discovered how much Ryan loves cucumbers! Hopefully his little tastebuds are finally expanding!!

Got some strawberries from the Commissary yesterday and this one was HUGE!!
