This and That :)

The weather was GORGEOUS on Tuesday so we took a quick trip to a park out in town before soccer practice!
Now that Nathan is walking everywhere, his curiosity has taken over!
Love that the Japanese Maples are RED! Makes it feel more and more like Fall!
Never can get Nathan to look at the camera anymore... too many interesting things!
C'mon Nathan!
The boys were mesmerized by the bulldozer...
Took me a good couple minutes to break the big machinery coma and get them to keep walking!
So much fun bouncing!
Ryan had fun bouncing Mama and Nathan as we sat in the middle :)
I have 2 walkers now... yikes!
Nathan's new love is putting my shoes on and 'dancing' in them :)
We went to the FishTank for sushi last night!
This was the little plate of negitoro they made especially for Ryan! he ate every bit and then had a little of mine too!

This is one of the owners - she was teaching Ryan how to drink his miso soup!

One of My Favorite Things..

One of my favorite things about Fall besides the yummy smelling candles and the ability to have all the windows in the house open is.... New fall clothes!!! (For Ry of course :)
For whatever reason this is his new signature pose! Whenever I ask him to stand for a picture, this is what I get!
Unless I catch a shot when he's trying to get away!
Oh and the stuck-out tongue is apparently part of it too ;)
Work it baby boy!
Nathan found a picture of Daddy and Ry (from when Ry was his age) on the fridge and has been carrying it around most of today.
He's getting really good at the whole walking thing!
He loves a good chase :)
This is a picture of my choosing my battles this morning. Out of all the cabinets in the kitchen, this is the one Nathan always decides to raid first... So I decided to empty it out and fill it with toys :) Now I don't have to get frustrated when he starts throwing my things all over the kitchen!

A good shot I got of the boys the other morning :)

Whew!

It sure feels like September has been super busy! Here are a few recent shots :)
Ry went through a phase this past week where he wanted to wear glasses just like Mommy - such a cutie!
Nathan has been working to secure his title as "Happiest Baby Ever" :)
He's actually very gentle with Max (when he's not trying to poke him in the ear) and Max is pretty darn patient with him too!
Mommy and her Littlest Man before heading to his one-year doctor's appointment! He measured 32 inches long and was 24.5 pounds! That put him in the 95th percentile for height (meaning he is taller than 95% of the kiddos his age) and put him at the 60th percentile for weight (meaning he's heavier than 60% of kiddos his age)
Mommy and Nathan picked out some new dino jammies for Ry when they were in Yokosuka! I think he liked them - he asked me to take this picture :)
Hanging out at Ryan's soccer game!
We always wear team colors on the weekend!!! Go Texas and Go Navy!!
Silly boys :)
Playing at the park - kiddo is almost walking full time now!
He loves to explore!
.... and is the king of mischief!
His newest love is hiding things - this is where he was hiding all the toy cars :)

He loves coming up and giving surprise hugs!!

What Daddy's Been Up To...

Found these on the CVW 5's Facebook page of all places and thought you guys might like to see what Daddy has been up to on his 'boat' :)
I believe this is from the exercises they were doing with the South Koreans... don't quote me on that!
A little diamondback flying :)
Another aerial shot
A landing
All the sailors lined up around the ship as it's pulling into port
It's fun seeing all the jets on deck... makes the ship seem so small :)
What he sees while he's flying around!

Gorgeous sunset shot!

Nathan Video 2 :)

Nathan Video 1

Happy little booger :)

LOVE This Picture!

My happy littlest man!

Boys At The Park!

Going to the park is pretty much a daily thing for us now that the afternoons are tolerable!
Kiddos love going down the slides together. Ryan does the countdown for us... sometimes he counts all the way to 10 before they are allowed to slide!
Franken-baby! He hasn't figured out how to stand up when not holding on to something, but get him on his feet and he's off!
Do I spy a little strawberry in that blonde?!
Ry likes trying to help Nathan walk around...
Poor Nathan doesn't want the help though!
I see you!
Loves to walk!
...and eat grass :)

We're just missing Daddy and we'd be one happy shadow family :)
