Easter!

This morning we took Ry to his very first Easter egg hunt on base! It was a gorgeous day and there were a ton of kids ready to fill their baskets...

They had everyone circle around the eggs....and wait 10 minutes! You can imagine how well this went over for all the 'under 2' year olds!

It was all over in a matter of seconds and Ry looked so forlorn searching for more eggs after they were all gone. There was no way he was letting go of the 3 he did manage to snag!

He held on to his basket the whole way home and we promised him another hunt in the backyard after his nap :)

He helped Mommy to color on Easter eggs that would be all ready to search for when he woke up!

He felt like such a big boy coloring them all by himself!

Ry LOVES his basket and eggs - I have a feeling the Easter festivities will last for a while!

He had a blast scattering them all over the floor and then putting them back into his basket again!
