Bus' Last Diamondback Flight

Since Guy is heading back to the states soon for interviews, and the D'backs are heading to sea soon, they decided to have his last flight before everything gets too crazy!
Ryan and I heading out of the hangar to see if we can spot Daddy!
My friend Elaine was shooting pictures for me and Ry decided he would rather be shy than have his picture taken...
And then it turned into a goofy game!
Gotcha!
Heading to the firetruck!
Hooray for Diamondback friends!
Wearing a fire helmet for safety (ie: because Ryan didn't want to!)
Ryan wasn't too keen on the idea of spraying Daddy with water so I told him he could just hold my hand and watch :)
Here he comes!
Got him!!
He was drenched to the core by the time he got to us!
Then they brought out the champagne!

Can't believe our time in the squadron is just about over...

BadMan Ball 2011

Since the evacuation messed up schedules of all sorts - the airwing decided to have a last minute, low-key badman ball this year!
All the Diamondback Ladies in our "Key West" attire!
Our Skipper's Wife Denyea and I :)
Most of the Diamondback Guys after winning the BadMan Trophy this year for all the sporting events!

Bus and I :)

Pictures for May!

We have had some absolutely gorgeous weather this Spring!
On Mother's Day we took a walk to a ball field here on base to let the boys run around for a bit. Nathan had fun checking out the bases :)
These boys love that wagon!
Nathan's turn!
Got a quick picture with my littlest man :)
Happy Mother's Day to me!!
It wouldn't be right unless someone burst into giggles!
Nathan trying miso soup at our favorite sushi restaurant
Ry was very excited about his after-dinner popsicle! They were sweet enough to make him some sushi rolls without wasabi - he loved them!
The boys got their first set of wheels!
Needless to say it was a big hit!
It needed a little help on the grassy hill!
They love cruising all over the neighborhood :)
Boys and their toys!
Sweet brothers at the park!
Gorgeous Japanese Maple!
Not sure what this one is, but very pretty!
Last weekend we took the boys strawberry picking!
We had an entire row to ourselves for 30 minutes - all you can eat!
Nathan ate his weight in strawberries!
Yummy!!
They ate until they couldn't eat any more!
Japanese strawberries are so amazing, I don't know how I will ever go back to american strawberries!
Doesn't get any fresher than this!
Trotting around in Daddy's shoes!

...and of course Ry was wearing mine!

Easter and Beyond...

I was raining cats and dogs the Saturday before Easter so our base egg hunt was moved indoors! Nathan had a ton of fun searching for eggs behind the little obstacles they set up!
Ryan had a blast too, but he was a little wary of charging out and potentially taking eggs from other kiddos - sweetie at heart!
Time to color eggs!
All marked up and ready to dye!
Ryan made sure to try every color...
and was so careful!
He could have done this all day long if I had let him.... also if I had an unlimited supply of boiled eggs!
2011 Easter Eggs complete!!
He had been playing Angry Birds on the iPad and asked me to make him a mustache like the piggies in the game... I think he looks like you Daddy!
Easter morning baskets! He was a little excited :)
So much fun!
Love the embroidered baskets I got them this year... we'll use them forever!
Gorgeous morning at the bouncy cloud park as we call it!
The boys bounced until they couldn't bounce anymore!
The japanese were having a golf clinic nearby so we were the only ones bouncing!!
"playing" a memory game!
Nathan loves to imitate Ryan - he insists on picking out undies after bath time just like his older brother!
Goofy boy!
Went to the Rollie Slide Park the other day!
Whee!!!!
The boys had a great time!

Ryan even caught a ride back to the car :)
