Easter and Beyond...

I was raining cats and dogs the Saturday before Easter so our base egg hunt was moved indoors! Nathan had a ton of fun searching for eggs behind the little obstacles they set up!
Ryan had a blast too, but he was a little wary of charging out and potentially taking eggs from other kiddos - sweetie at heart!
Time to color eggs!
All marked up and ready to dye!
Ryan made sure to try every color...
and was so careful!
He could have done this all day long if I had let him.... also if I had an unlimited supply of boiled eggs!
2011 Easter Eggs complete!!
He had been playing Angry Birds on the iPad and asked me to make him a mustache like the piggies in the game... I think he looks like you Daddy!
Easter morning baskets! He was a little excited :)
So much fun!
Love the embroidered baskets I got them this year... we'll use them forever!
Gorgeous morning at the bouncy cloud park as we call it!
The boys bounced until they couldn't bounce anymore!
The japanese were having a golf clinic nearby so we were the only ones bouncing!!
"playing" a memory game!
Nathan loves to imitate Ryan - he insists on picking out undies after bath time just like his older brother!
Goofy boy!
Went to the Rollie Slide Park the other day!
Whee!!!!
The boys had a great time!

Ryan even caught a ride back to the car :)

Zoo Day!!

This morning we went to the Yokohama Zoo!
It was such a gorgeous Spring day and the boys were so excited to see some animals!
First stop was the elephants and we were lucky enough to see one swimming around and taking a bath!
Comparing how big his hand is against a gorilla hand!
Nathan was more about the high-fives!
We got to see a tiger pretty close up too!
I love how the cherry blossom petals look like snow on the ground :)
Nathan has spotted something!
Watching the otters swim around!
And a seal!
Ryan was so excited to be eating his lunch at the zoo!
He thought the monkey statue had a funny nose! ... it did!
A really pretty flower!
Are these the ones bringing our baby?? :)
Giddy-up!
Kiddo loves waterfalls!
Being silly!
Silly boy :)
He is also obsessed with maps so whenever he saw one we had to stop and check it out!
An Okapi!
Ry actually asked for this picture - silly boy!
Ry and the chimps! Funny story - Nathan had actually wanted to stand up on the ledge next to Ryan and see the 'ma-kees' as he calls him. So I put him up on the ledge and within 2 seconds at least 3 or 4 of the chimps are pushing each other to get an up-close look at Nathan, poking at the glass and making noise! It of course scared Nathan to death, but I guess chimps really like copper haired kiddos!
Still unsure about this one... it's fake - just don't understand the point!
Couldn't leave without getting some ice cream!!
Nathan opted for some snacks instead :)

I think I wore them out!! We will definitely be going back soon!

Bubbles!

I bought the boys a battery operated bubble blower the other day...
Best $15 I've ever spent!!!
They had so much fun running around like crazy little boys, popping all the bubbles!
Nathan was quite intrigued :)
So many bubbles!
Kiddo loves to slide!

Sweet boys :)

Well...

It looks like this will be a Nathan post since he is the most willing to have his picture taken!
Yeah... totally caught him doing this! Looks like he'll be my child that ends up in the ER with a lima bean stuck up his nose :)
Littlest man totally has curls! It flattens out (for the most part) once it's dry... but oh it's so cute!
Sweet boy - ready to head out on a walk!
Being cool at the barber shop!
Gotta flip them up so I can read my magazine... of course!
A shot of Nathan I got at the park the other day - I love this bridge!

Another one from our Spring'y photo shoot :)
