Zoo Day!!

This morning we went to the Yokohama Zoo!

It was such a gorgeous Spring day and the boys were so excited to see some animals!

First stop was the elephants and we were lucky enough to see one swimming around and taking a bath!

Comparing how big his hand is against a gorilla hand!

Nathan was more about the high-fives!

We got to see a tiger pretty close up too!

I love how the cherry blossom petals look like snow on the ground :)

Nathan has spotted something!

Ryan was so excited to be eating his lunch at the zoo!

He thought the monkey statue had a funny nose! ... it did!

Ry and the chimps! Funny story - Nathan had actually wanted to stand up on the ledge next to Ryan and see the 'ma-kees' as he calls him. So I put him up on the ledge and within 2 seconds at least 3 or 4 of the chimps are pushing each other to get an up-close look at Nathan, poking at the glass and making noise! It of course scared Nathan to death, but I guess chimps really like copper haired kiddos!

Still unsure about this one... it's fake - just don't understand the point!

Couldn't leave without getting some ice cream!!

Nathan opted for some snacks instead :)

I think I wore them out!! We will definitely be going back soon!
